I help people create clarity, with pictures, with words, with frameworks.

There are three ways I work with people right now. Each one is about the same thing: creating clarity. They just start in different places.

How to Present like a Pro

Most presentations fail before the first slide is opened — because the thinking never happened. I've spent 17 years helping people think first, make it visible, then speak. This training changes how you prepare, not just how you perform.

Two ways to join:
- Live online cohort: Two half-days plus a group coaching session. Small group, real feedback, no self-paced videos. Learn more →
- In-house, on-site: One day with your team, tailored to your real presentations. Request an in-house training

AI for Leaders

AI is not a technology challenge. It's a leadership challenge, and leadership means creating clarity for others. Together with Sohrab Salimi and the Agile Academy, I've built a training that helps leaders understand what AI changes for their teams, their decisions, and their own role.

Crossroad Sessions

You have a project, a decision, a next step, and you're standing at a crossroads. Over a series of focused sessions, we untangle it together. I draw while we talk. You leave with a clear picture (literally).

Format: Remote, one-on-one, packages of 5 or 10 sessions.

Who's Holger?

Trained carpenter. Award-winning communication designer. Author of ten-plus books — business books, drawing books, children's books, and a fantasy novel in the making. Father. Autistic. Stroke survivor.

Since 2009, I've helped companies like Roche and partners like Alexander Osterwalder turn complexity into clarity. But the method is always the same, whether I'm in a boardroom or at my drawing desk: understand it, make it visible, share it.

That's what "Creating Clarity" means. Not a slogan. A practice.

My Books

I write to think. Business books about clarity and innovation, drawing books for daily practice, children's books for the autism community — and a hand-written fantasy novel that's slowly taking shape.

Some of my alltime favorites include: Creating Clarity, the Daily Drawing books, The Wrong Planet, and Pirates in the Navy)

The Clarity Chronicle

Every Sunday, I write a short, personal letter about clarity, creativity, and whatever I'm figuring out that week. No marketing. No funnels. Around 2,000 people read it, and about half of them open every single one, which tells you it's worth your inbox.

More Ways I Can Help

Beyond the three offers above, I occasionally take on keynotes, visual thinking trainings, design thinking and strategy workshops, and custom illustration work (together with Benjamin, my creative right hand). If you have something in mind, just ask.
